On May 28, 2026, the 2026 'Overseas PhD China Tech Tour' AI and Robotics special edition, hosted by INNO-APAC, concluded successfully. The event invited 15 top overseas PhDs and experts from the United States, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and other countries, spanning four cities—Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, and Tianjin—to connect deeply with China's intelligent manufacturing resources.
During the week-long program, the delegation visited Shanghai Zhangjiang AI Island, Suzhou Industrial Park, Beijing Zhongguancun, and Tianjin Binhai New Area, engaging in in-depth exchanges with leading enterprises, research institutes, and government departments. Delegation members gave academic presentations on large model applications, embodied intelligence, industrial robotics, and autonomous driving, and held joint discussions with Chinese technical teams.
During the event, several overseas experts reached preliminary cooperation intentions with Chinese enterprises, covering joint laboratory construction, technology commercialization, and high-end talent recruitment. The organizers stated that the 'Overseas PhD China Tech Tour' aims to build a bridge between overseas high-end talent and China's industrial needs.
